England captain Harry Kane has won the European Golden Shoe for the 2025/26 season after finishing as the leading league goalscorer across Europe’s top domestic divisions.
The Bayern Munich striker was rewarded for another prolific campaign, adding the prestigious individual honour to an already decorated career.
Kane scored 73 goals across the season for club and country, including 12 for England, matching his best international return since the 2021/22 campaign.
The European Golden Shoe is awarded annually to the player who scores the most goals in Europe’s leading domestic leagues, with the Bayern forward emerging as the continent’s top scorer for the season.
Kane also enjoyed a memorable 2026 FIFA World Cup with England, helping the national team record its best-ever finish at a men’s World Cup staged outside Europe.

During the tournament, the former Tottenham Hotspur forward made history by becoming England’s all-time leading goalscorer at the FIFA World Cup.
He first equalled Gary Lineker’s record before surpassing the former England striker’s tally, further cementing his place among the country’s greatest goalscorers.
Kane’s World Cup performances also moved him into joint fifth place on the all-time FIFA World Cup goalscorers list.
