Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick has not ruled out the possibility of coaching eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, Lionel Messi at the club.
The German tactician added fuel to speculations about Messi after the Argentina captain and Inter Miami star was spotted inside the Spotify Camp Nou grounds.
There had been speculations that Barcelona could bring back Messi briefly during the MLS off-season.
Asked if could coach Messi, Flick said, “Why not?”

However, he added that the decision was not his to make.
“Messi is the best player of the last ten years or more. It’s incredible to watch him play. But his contract runs until 2028 and mine until 2027… so there’s no case,” Flick said.
Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has consistently said Messi would not return to play for the club.
He has hinted that a massive tribute would be organised for the club legend once the Camp Nou has been fully renovated.
