Karl Hala, Group General Manager of Continental Hotels, has bagged the prestigious title of Nigerian Hospitality Legend at the Travellers Award ceremony.
Hala won the honour at the 19th Akwaaba African Travel Market which was held recently at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos State. Mr Ikechi Uno, organiser of the Akwaaba African Travel Market, said that Mr Hala’s recognition was because of his visionary approach and ability to adapt to changing market trends, which have positioned Continental Hotels as a leading player in the Nigerian hospitality industry. According to him, Mr Hala has made tremendous impact and contributions to the Nigerian hospitality industry. Mr Uno described the boss of the Continental Hotel brands as a proven leader who has shown exceptional capacity and thorough understanding of the hotel industry. He said that Mr. Hala effectively adopted tactics that have not only improved the guest experience, but have also contributed to the hotel group’s overall expansion and prosperity.
