Anticipation is whipping up excitement as designers, fashionistas and other enthusiasts get set to gather for the fifth edition of Tin City Fashion Week (TCFW) to be held on November 16, 2025, at Novel Suites & Resort in Jos, Plateau State.
The event, themed, “Guodo Glam,” promises to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria’s North Central geopolitical zone through the iconic woven fabric, Guodo.
The visionary brain behind the fashion exhibition, Christabel Bentu, who spoke with journalists ahead of the event said: “The fashion week is all about celebrating our unique Guodo fabric, which is a product of our woven factory and a symbol of our region’s rich cultural heritage.
“Over the past four years, we have worked tirelessly to bring Guodo to the forefront of the fashion world, and this fifth edition is a testament to our resilience and determination,” Bentu said.
She revealed that the event will feature designers from Ghana and Seychelles as well as local talents from Port Harcourt, Lagos, and Abuja, who will showcase their creativity and skills using the Guodo woven fabric. The event will also host visiting models from Lagos and Ghana, adding to the glamour and excitement of the occasion.
