At the 2026 Tin City Fashion Weekend (TCFW), designers gave creative expression to the “Guodo Glam” theme of the event with alluring and glamorous styles made from Guodo fabric which is fast gaining popularity. The elegant designs were made with a mix of Guodo and other fabrics like lace, satin and chiffon, among others.

The event held in Jos, Plateau State featured 15 designers, who came from Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Ghana and Seychelles. Excellent designs in the various collections were marvelous, distinct and savvy.

The audience felt the creative energy, excitement and visual impact as the models strutted their swag on the runway, displaying the unique unisex styles to the excitement of the audience.

“We are so happy that people are beginning to use the fabric more, like mixing them with other fabrics. A lot the designs were bought off the runway. So many people came to the show wearing their own Guodo outfit,”  Christabel  Bentu, organizer of TCFW happily told Sunday Sun.
