Gunmen kill 3 policemen in Enugu

Gunmen have reportedly killed three policemen in a shooting incident which occurred in Enugu on Wednesday night.

The incident took place around Block Bus Stop at New Haven area within the state capital. The gunmen were said to have stormed the area by 10:30pm on Wednesday.

Residents were quick to send security messages to other residents who may not be aware of the incident.

One of the messages read: “It happened at Block Bus Stop in front of Frank Supermarket.

“Three policemen down already. Guys for our information, incase we still dey outside, avoid New Haven.

“Two battered police men are still lying lifeless here.”

The message was accompanied by a video which showed the dead Policemen inside a nearby gutter.

Police Spokesman in Enugu, Daniel Ndukwe, was yet to respond to a text message sent to his phone as at the time of this report.
