Anambra Commissioner, wife kidnapped by gunmen, aide murdered

The Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Aghamba and his wife have been abducted by gunmen.

According to online reports, Aghamba and his wife were kidnapped in Kogi State, while one of his aides, A. B. Affiah, who was travelling with them was killed during the abduction.

The abduction occurred when the victims were en route to the wedding ceremony of Adaora, the daughter of Governor Chukwuma Soludo scheduled for Saturday.

As of the time of filing this report, the kidnappers had yet to demand a ransom.
