Officials of Independent Corrupt Practices & Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) have stormed governor Nasir El-rufai’s polling Unit 024, Ward 07, Ungwan Sarki, Kaduna.
The ICPC officials arrived at about 9.35am while some voters were casting their votes with ease because there was no long queue at the time of this report.
Unlike the presidential and National Assembly elections of February 25 when El-rufai arrived the polling unit, it was not certain the exact time he will arrive to cast his vote for the governorship election.
Also, it was observed that voting materials arrived early in most polling units across the State capital compared to the presidential election.
Recall that governor El-rufai won his polling unit, with the All Progressive Congress (APC) scoring 173 votes, while the major opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) got 134 votes for the presidential election.
