Guardiola reacts to England job speculation

Pep Guardiola has reaffirmed that he is dedicated to Manchester City, while England searches for a new manager.

The Football Association (FA) is seeking Gareth Southgate’s replacement.

After Spain defeated England in the Euro 2024 final, Southgate resigned.

The FA’s August 2 application deadline has passed, and Guardiola insists he is content at City, where he has one season left on his contract.

Guardiola told reporters: “I am here, I am really pleased. I cannot say anything. I don’t know where it has come from. I am really satisfied here.

“I am desperate for when the players are ready to come back to start to train all together and refresh what we have to do.”
