Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, has declared that if the club does not overcome West Ham on Saturday evening, the Premier League title chase will be over.

Guardiola’s side may start their meeting at the London Stadium 10 points behind leaders Arsenal.

Despite the fact that the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Real Madrid is on the horizon, the Spaniard is completely focused on the game against the Hammers.

City trail 3-0 from the first leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Guardiola said: “We don’t have many dollars in the bank but we will see on Tuesday.
“Now it’s West Ham. The Premier League is the most difficult title.

“We’re still there, knowing that if we drop points it will be over.”
