Manchester City’s manager, Pep Guardiola, has been given a one-game ban after being issued a yellow card in Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final victory against Bournemouth.
Referee Stuart Atwell booked Guardiola for dissent after striker Erling Haaland was brought down during the game.
Haaland was forced off with an apparent knee injury following a tackle from Lewis Cook.
The Norway striker signalled to be taken off as Bournemouth continued to play on, which sparked an angry reaction from City.
Kevin De Bruyne could be seen exchanging words with Cook, while Guardiola was booked after making his thoughts known about the situation.
The yellow card is Guardiola’s third of this campaign and means he will not be on the touchline when City host Leicester in the Premier League on Wednesday.
