A socio-cultural group, the Akoli Imenyi Ambassadors, has made a passionate appeal to well-meaning Nigerians, philanthropists, corporate bodies, and humanitarian organisations to come to the urgent rescue of 20-year-old Miss Udochi Chimezie, who is currently battling kidney failure.

Udochi, an indigene of Akoli Imenyi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital and maternity facility in Okpanam, Delta State, where medical personnel are working around the clock to manage her deteriorating health.

According to the group, an estimated N40 million is required to cover critical medical procedures, regular dialysis, essential medications, and related hospital expenses necessary to save her life.

Describing Udochi as a bright young woman full of promise, the Akoli Imenyi Ambassadors urged the public not to let financial constraints jeopardise her future.

“We are calling on compassionate Nigerians, religious organizations, public-spirited individuals, and humanitarian groups to support this urgent medical appeal. No amount is too small, and every contribution will help give Udochi a second chance at life,” the group stated.

The group also called on members of the public to keep Udochi in their thoughts and prayers as effort continues to raise the needed funds for her treatment.
