Greensprings Training College (GTC), a leading institution in teacher education, has announced three-day intensive Montessori workshop.
The event which is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, February 24th to Thursday, February 26th, 2026, the event is themed ‘Shaping Futures: Teachers as Custodians of Child Socialisation.
The workshop is designed to equip educators, school owners, and parents with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to effectively implement the Montessori curriculum, emphasising the teacher’s role in the holistic development of the child.
The event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Lanre Oguntoye, a renowned expert in learning innovation, instructional design, and digital pedagogy. He will guide participants through modern pedagogical strategies that align with the Montessori philosophy.
The workshop promises a hands-on approach, utilising standard Montessori materials to cover critical areas of early childhood education.
A statement from the college said the workshop would hold at Greensprings Montessori Centre at Anthony/Gbagada, Lagos.
The college added that GTC reinforces the idea that education goes beyond academics and that it is about shaping the character and future of the next generation.
