Umuohi Community in Okija Local Government Area of Anambra State has emerged winner of the annual Okija Ultimate Football league sponsored by Eze Ndigbo Mekong River, Thailand, Eze (Amb) Uzochukwu Jerome Ezeneche.
The event, which attracted sport-loving persons across the state, gave the youth opportunity to showcase their talents. During the exercise, teams from different communities competed for the trophy.
While receiving the trophy from the victorious Umuohi team, Eze Ezeneche said the event is his own way of promoting sports at the grassroots adding that with such move, new talents will be discovered.
