Multi-talented and prolific spoken word artiste, Tofarati Ige, popularly known as Grand Tycoon, recently performed at two major comedy events in Nigeria, entertaining audiences in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Grand Tycoon first took the stage at veteran comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka’s Laffmatazz show, held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta.
His performance caught the attention of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ogun State.
During his performance, Grand Tycoon composed a rhyme on the spot for the senator. Following the performance, an aide to Adeola fetched the artiste from backstage to where the senator expressed his appreciation for the performance.
