Governors Abdullahi Sule and Caleb Mutfwang of Nasarawa and Plateau States have called for strengthened local content in Luft Pay TV programmes across the country to boost the economy.

They made the call recently in Abuja at the launch of the digital pay TV service, expressing enthusiasm over the economic potential of the new platform.

Governor Sule commended the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Luft Pay TV, Dr. Bright Echefu, stating that it was time to use pay TV channels to promote Nigeria’s culture, history, sports, and youth development.

Governor Mutfwang added that Luft Pay TV is here to stay, supporting local initiatives, enhancing the entertainment industry, and breaking monopolies to foster shared values and investment opportunities in Nigeria.

Dr. Bright Echefu announced that the organisation has launched a revolutionary television service, ushering in a new era of entertainment for Nigerians.

“This innovative platform promises to deliver the best of global and local content, tailored to meet the diverse needs of Nigerian audiences. We are thrilled to introduce Luft Pay TV, designed with Nigerians in mind,” Echefu said.

He added that Luft Pay TV would offer an unparalleled entertainment experience, featuring exciting Nollywood blockbusters, live sports, international news, reality shows, and a dedicated children’s channel for education and entertainment.

The platform, supported by cutting-edge technology, delivers crystal-clear HD quality, multi-device compatibility, and affordable subscription plans. It is committed to showcasing Nigerian talent and content, promoting local stories and creativity.

Addressing concerns regarding Telecom Satellites Limited (TSTV), Dr. Echefu said, “TSTV is not dead. We’re resolving internal shareholder disagreements and expect positive developments in the coming weeks. We assure our loyal customers that everything will be fine.”
