Kogi State Governor, Usman Ododo has pledged to continue to execute more projects that would enhance the living conditions of the citizens of the State.
Governor Ododo had commissioned over 80 primary healthcares centres across the State, apart from equipping General Hospitals with the needed personnel.
He had engaged the citizens with Health Insurance programme to boost their health conditions.
Speaking to journalists on Monday in Kaduna, the Special Adviser to the Governor on media Affairs, Malam Isah Ismaila, pointed out that governor Ododo had supported over 30,000 Adolescent School girls while over 700 public schools were renovated to enhance academic activities in the state.
He added that 20-kilometre roads in each of the 21 local government councils in the state are on the verge of completion to facilitate economic activities.

He said 4000 hecters of lands have been acquired by the state government for the establishment of free Trade Zones for investors within and outside the state.
On the issue of security, the media Adviser disclosed that the governor had procured combined drones for use by security personnel as well as reviving local vigilantes group members to complement the work of police and other security agents.
He noted that the move has greatly enhanced security net work in the State.
“But we are not denying the fact that there are still pockets of insecurity in the State, and we are confident that our security agencies are equal to the challenges”. So insecurity will soon be a thing of the past in the State. He said.
He also said the State government has further procured public busses to convey civil servants from home to their working places and back to their homes daily to serve as morale booster for them while arrears and other emoluments have been paid to the workers.
The Media Adviser, however urged the citizens to remain peaceful and law abiding to enjoy more dividends of democracy from the state government.
