Governor Seyi Makinde’s aide Otunba Benedict Akika popularly known as “Benee” has reportedly been kidnapped by gunmen.
According to reports, Akika was abducted on Wednesday night at Olohundaaba in Lagelu Local Government area of Oyo State.
An unconfirmed report said he was kidnapped at his Idi-Ape residence along Akobo Ojurin-Olohunda road, Ibadan.

Per another unconfirmed source, one person was killed during the abduction.
Incidents surrounding the kidnapping are sketchy as of the time of this report but it was revealed that authorities were said to be on top of the incident.
Also, attempts to contact the state’s police headquarters on the development proved futile as the Public Relations Officer, SP Adewale Osifeso did not respond to calls.
