Gov. Sule distributes 42 operational vehicles to security agencies, commissioners, others

The governor of Nasarawa state Abdullahi Sule on Wednesday distributed 42 operational vehicles to various security agencies, Commissioners and heads of agencies in the state.
Speaking at the distribution exercise, sule said the feat is geared towards sustaining the support of the government to security operations in the state.
Sule explained that security is one of the topmost priority of his administration which why he has continued to distribute vehicles to them in addition to other logistics support.
He noted that the security agencies who benefited from the support to includes; Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Army, Nigeria Airforce, Department of State Services, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps.
Others who also benefited are unconventional security outfit are; hunters, Vigilante Group of Nigeria.
The governor said no support can be too much to the security agencies because of the very good work they are doing to safeguard the people of the state.
He explained that the vehicles donated to security agencies were special once that could enter into hinterlands to enable them combat insecurity and keep the entire state is safe.
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Jama’atu Nasir Islam (JNI) and other Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) were also given vehicles to help their operations.
The therefore said that in addition to the vehicles distributed today, the government since inception had distributed 129 vehicles and motorcycles to security agencies and other bodies.
Responding on behalf of the security agencies, commissioner of police, Adesina Soyemi, expressed gratitude to the governor for the feat.
The Police Commissioner who was ably represented by Shehu Nadada, Deputy Commissioner of Police in the state promised to continue to do their job professionally to keep the state safe.
The CP also appealed to members of the public to collaborate with them and inform the security agencies about the activities of criminal elements for prompt action.
