In his determination to up lift the state owned Wikki Tourists Football club of Bauchi to its rightful position, for social and economic development and purposeful Youth engagement in the eyes of sports loving Nigerians and particularly its fans across the country, Governor Bala Mohammed, has approved the appointment of new Management Board members of the team to run t effectively.
A press release made available to sports journalists in Bauchi by the State Ministry of Youth and sports development through it information Officer Bashi Shehu, stated that the appointed individuals have exhibited commendable dedication and effectiveness in their roles which guided Wikki Tourists FC to an unparalleled performance throughout it contest in the half season.
According to the release “their efforts have been instrumental in securing the top position in conference ‘C’ this far, a testament to their leadership and strategic acumen”.
The seven man Management Board members is headed by Engr. Auwal Musa Gotel as Chairman, Umar Saidu, Dauda Ciroma, Lawal Garba Dass, Alhassan Ishak and Sadiq Yusuf both serves as members while Sa’adu Chadi Jama’are will serve as Secretary of the state darling team.
The State Youth and Sports Development Ministry further extends its congratulations to the newly appointed board members and expressed optimism that their collective vision and commitment will undoubtedly propel Wikki Tourists to greater heights of success and achievements in the future.
