Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on emerging as the APC flag bearer for the 2027 general elections, describing the victory as well deserved.
The governor, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, also extended congratulations to all APC candidates and flag bearers who emerged victorious across the country, describing their emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party faithful.

Governor Alia particularly commended the APC National Working Committee, led by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, for providing purposeful leadership and organising transparent and successful primaries across the federation.
He emphasised that the smooth conduct of the exercise demonstrates the growing strength, internal democracy and unity within the APC family.
The governor wished all the party’s candidates success as they prepare for the 2027 general elections, reaffirming Benue State’s solidarity with the national direction of the ruling party.
