Gov Adeleke unveils ‘Imole Wi-Fi’ in Osogbo

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has launched a free Internet service in the State capital, Osogbo.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by the  Commissioner for Information and Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi.

According to the statement, the initiative is aimed at providing residents, students and businesses with free Wi-Fi services to make life easier for the people and ultimately grow the economy.

The free Wi-Fi will be enjoyed in places like; Osun State Library, Alphastart Hub, Osun Mall, Salvation Army Middle School, Oshogbo Grammar School, Ministry of Innovation, Science, Technology and Digital Economy sites all in Osogbo.

Commenting on the effort, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation, Science, Technology, and Digital Economy, Mr Azeez Badmus, added that the Imole Wi-Fi will be expanded ensuring that every resident in Osun State benefits from the initiative.
