Governor of Kwara state and Chairman Nigerian Governors Forum, Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq assured the Kwara state Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence corps,(NSCDC) Commandant Umar J G Mohammed of his unflinching support for the Corps.
The Governor gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to his office by the new Commandant. He appreciated all officers and men of the Corps for their commitment, doggedness and patriotism towards securing lives and properties of Kwarans and Nigerians as a whole.
Responding, Commandant Umar expressed his gratitude to the Governor for his unalloyed support towards NSCDC over the years and reiterated the corps readiness to tackle crime and criminality effectively and also protection of Critical National Assets and Infrastructures in the state.
