Golvia, one of Africa’s emerging innovation-driven startups, has announced the constitution of its inaugural Advisory Board — a distinguished team of professionals bringing decades of experience across banking, technology, human capital, oil & gas, and business development.
In a statement by Founder & CEO, Izuchukwu Nwankpa, the move reflects Golvia’s philosophy of embedding accountability and sound governance into its growth story.
“We believe that bold visions must be matched by robust structures and wise counsel. This Advisory Board represents our commitment to doing things the right way — ensuring our decisions are strategic, sustainable, and impactful,” Nwankpa said.
The seven-member board is drawn from senior leadership positions across diverse industries and embodies the depth of insight and accountability Golvia aspires to.
The Advisory Board:
✅ Engr Dr Vincent Nnadi
A seasoned oil & gas engineer and consultant, with over 25 years of experience delivering large-scale projects and advising multinational energy companies.
✅ Mrs Chile Frank-Udemgba
A business development specialist with more than 20 years at Zenith Bank, where she excelled in building relationships and driving growth. She is also the founder of Woman and Half (WAH), an initiative focused on empowering women.
✅ Mr Oghene Okoro
Currently the Deputy Chief Information Officer (DCIO) at Globus Bank, Mr Okoro brings deep expertise in financial technology, operational efficiency, and innovation in banking.
✅ Dr Omoyemi Ohazulike, PhD
A marketing and business development expert with over two decades of experience advising organizations on growth strategies and customer engagement.
✅ Olaide Ojieh
A respected human resources strategist and innovation consultant, Olaide is known for aligning people, processes, and innovation to deliver organizational transformation.
✅ Mrs Rakiya Shuibu Mohammed
Former Director General of IT at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) she is an AI specialist with a strong track record in public sector technology leadership and policy.
✅ Adekunle Afolabi
With over 25 years in banking and finance, Adekunle is a Partner at Nexus Capital, where he advises on corporate finance, investments, and growth strategy for African enterprises.
