Organisers of Nigeria’s First Pre-Season tourney; Gold Cup has sent a congratulatory message to its Grand Patron, Senator Buhari Abdul-Fatai (BAF).
The Chairman Senate Committee on ICT and Cybercrimes broke the second term jinx as he was re-elected to the Red Chamber by his constituents in Oyo North Senatorial District.
Buhari defeated his close rival Honourable Mulikat Akande Adeola of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by a total vote of 107, 703 to 89, 365 as announced by independent Electoral commission, INEC at the collation centre in Iseyin.
Tunde Shamsudeen, General Coordinator of the most elaborate preseason tourney in a victory message said: “We rejoice with our Grand Patron over this election feat, this would not have been possible without the good people of Oyo North who have trust in him.
“BAF in the last four years has shown the grassroots person he is with meaningful projects he has executed geared at torching lives and empowering the youths.
