Distinguished leaders, creatives, and change-makers gathered at the Lagos Oriental Hotel on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, for the Eko Heritage Awards 2026, an evening dedicated to celebrating excellence, culture, and contributions to national development.
One of the honorees of the night was Mrs Darlene Godfrey-Oduh, Travel Consultant, Humanitarian, and Chief Executive Officer. She was presented with the “Global Travel and Education Consultant of the Year” award in recognition of over 30 years of leadership, service, and impact in education, travel, and youth empowerment.
Speaking after receiving the award, Mrs Darlene expressed appreciation for the recognition.

“I am deeply grateful for this honour. To be celebrated in a room filled with people who are committed to moving Lagos and Nigeria forward means a lot to me. This award is not just for me. It is for every young person I have mentored, every student we have supported to travel abroad, and every dream we have worked to make a reality,” she said.
Mrs Darlene is the Chief Executive Officer of Gresfor International Services Limited, an indigenous education and immigration consultancy firm. Through Gresfor, she has provided international admission placement, visa processing and counselling, scholarship guidance, and exam preparation for IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT, ACT and PTE. The company has positioned itself as a one-stop solution for travel and education needs, supporting clients from application to resettlement abroad.
She is also President and Chief Executive Officer of Face of Change Nigeria. Under her leadership, the organisation has redefined pageantry in Nigeria by shifting focus from beauty to substance. The 2026 edition, themed “HER IMPACT”, is dedicated to discovering and nurturing young people to drive positive change in their communities. The winner will be crowned The Impact Queen and will represent Nigeria at the first Face of Change International pageant. The 2026 edition has received endorsement from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
On what to expect going forward, Mrs Darlene said the award has further strengthened her resolve to do more.
“Celebrating hard work is my passion and empowering the next generation is my responsibility. We will continue to create more platforms for young Nigerians to showcase their talents, guide more students to global opportunities with integrity, and build partnerships that promote nation-building. We are just getting started,” she said.
With her work across travel, education, and youth development, Mrs Darlene Godfrey-Oduh continues to embody the Eko Heritage spirit of leadership with purpose.
