God First Ministry Inc Celebrates 34th Anniversary: Bishop Isaac Idahosa reflects on his remarkable journey from ministry to politics

God First Ministry Inc marked a significant milestone with the celebration of its 34th Anniversary under the leadership of General Overseer, Bishop Isaac Idahosa. The anniversary event, which took place at the Illumination Assembly Church Auditorium in Lagos, was a testament to God’s faithfulness and the remarkable journey of Bishop Idahosa.

 

During a press interview, Bishop Isaac Idahosa shared the inspiring story of how he founded God First Ministry in Niger state on August 28th, 1989, with just 50 kobo. Reflecting on his journey, he emphasized that it’s not how one starts but the commitment, focus, persistence, and obedience to God’s voice that matter the most. He attributed the ministry’s global success to the grace and favor of God, emphasizing that grace attracts and propels destinies.

 

When asked about his transition from ministry to politics, Bishop Idahosa explained that he didn’t choose ministry; instead, he felt called by God in 1979 after a personal encounter. His passion for knowing God led him to attend Bible School, not with the intention of becoming a pastor but to acquire knowledge. He embarked on his journey of spreading the Gospel from street to street in Niger State at a young age.

 

Bishop Idahosa’s transition into politics was unexpected. He recalled a conversation with His Excellency Dr. Kwankwaso about working as a running mate for the Obi of the Labour Party. However, circumstances led him to become the running mate himself, and he accepted the role with grace. Throughout his political campaigns, he maintained a peaceful and non-confrontational approach, emphasizing unity and the importance of achieving a common vision for Nigeria.

 

Bishop Isaac Idahosa’s life story is a testament to his unwavering faith, commitment to God’s calling, and the remarkable journey that has led him to impact both the ministry and the political landscape in Nigeria.

 

As Bishop Idahosa marks 34th Anniversary, guests from across the globe joined him to appreciate God’s Faithfulness upon his ministry, making mentioned of his principal, The National leader of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso PhD for his supportive and courage. He sent some representatives on this day of his 34th Anniversary. Hon.M.B. Shehu, a guest from Kano state. Bishop Theophilus Taiwo Ajose, special adviser to the state CAN Chairman, among others.
