Digital solutions provider, Globacom, during honoured its top-performing business partners at the 2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala held at Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event brought together the company’s strategic business and trade partners for an evening of recognition, appreciation and entertainment, while rewarding outstanding performance and strengthening collaboration for future growth.
A total of 115 dealers who distinguished themselves between January and June 2026 received cash rewards worth millions of naira and other prizes. Speaking at the event, Globacom’s Cluster Head, Lagos 2, Abdul Rasaq Ande, described the gathering as a celebration of the strong partnership that has driven the company’s success over the years. According to him, the occasion was not only to honour outstanding individuals but also to celebrate the shared vision, collaboration and innovation that define Globacom’s relationship with its partners. “Our partners have, over the years, been the bedrock of the Globacom ecosystem, and their success is our success,” he said.
Reflecting on the company’s journey, Ande noted that Globacom has spent 23 years driving technological innovation and service excellence since commencing operations on August 29, 2003.
He reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuous investment in next-generation technologies, infrastructure upgrades and network expansion to deliver superior services to customers.
Globacom also unveiled new customer-focused initiatives aimed at delivering greater value to subscribers.
Chief among them is the More Data More Value proposition, designed to ensure subscribers receive increased value for every naira spent on data services while reinforcing the company’s reputation for affordability.
Other News
The company also highlighted ongoing technical and marketing initiatives aimed at improving customer experience nationwide. These include Gloria, an AI-powered Glo Café voice assistant that provides customer support in six languages, as well as the expanded Borrow Me Credit service, which enables subscribers to remain connected even when they have exhausted their airtime balance.
According to the company, the Glo Café platform is also being enhanced to provide a more engaging digital experience for millions of subscribers.
Entertainment formed a major part of the evening, with the “Rep Your Region” Best Dressed competition emerging as one of the highlights. Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited won the male and female categories respectively, each receiving a cash prize of ₦500,000.
Guests were also entertained by renowned musician Segun Johnson, while comedian Gordons served as master of ceremonies alongside television personality and brand influencer Mo Abebe.
Some of the award recipients commended Globacom for consistently recognising and rewarding excellence among its partners.
Speaking on behalf of the dealers, Managing Director of Demmy Global Resources, Ademola Akinlabi, and Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya of Lambadaya Stores praised the company for rewarding dealers across several categories with cars, cash prizes worth millions of naira and other incentives.
The event, which ended in the early hours of Friday, underscored Globacom’s commitment to sustaining strong partnerships with its dealers as part of efforts to deliver quality products and services to customers across the country.
