Digital solutions company, Globacom and Samsung have reaffirmed their enduring strategic alliance with the launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8.
The devices were unveiled during an exclusive Masterclass hosted recently at the Gloworld, Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event underscored the robust relationship between the two industry leaders, a partnership that has consistently delivered premium products, exclusive offers and exceptional experiences to Nigerian consumers.
In recognition of Globacom’s significant contribution to the success of Samsung’s foldable smartphone journey, the technology giant presented the company with its prestigious Foldable Legacy Award.
Customers who purchase either the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra or the Galaxy Z Fold8 from any Gloworld outlet across the country will receive an exclusive package that includes 18GB of free Glo data (3GB monthly for six months), a Glo eSIM with a Premium Number, and an additional 10GB monthly bonus data for six months. Buyers will also enjoy benefits valued at up to N1 million, including Samsung Care+ coverage and flexible payment options.
Speaking during the Masterclass, Samsung’s Product Manager, EIP & MNOs Business, Mr. Solomon Osibeluwo, described the collaboration with Globacom as a partnership founded on years of mutual trust and shared vision.

He further explained that the Galaxy Z Fold8 introduces Samsung’s new passport-inspired design, making it slimmer, lighter and more portable.
The smartphone also features a brighter display enhanced by Vision Booster and anti-reflective technology, ensuring superior visibility even under bright sunlight.
He added that the built-in Galaxy AI features enable users to communicate more effectively, create content with greater ease and boost workplace productivity.
Also speaking at the event, the Director of Gloworld, Mr. Mohamed Rabie, described the unveiling as another landmark in the enduring partnership between Globacom and Samsung.

Rabie announced that customers can pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 at all Gloworld outlets nationwide from July 22 to August 20. The pre-order window gives customers early access to Samsung’s latest foldable smartphones, together with exclusive Glo and Samsung benefits worth up to ₦1 million.
The Masterclass also featured live demonstrations of the new devices, offering business partners, technology enthusiasts and members of the media the opportunity to experience Samsung’s latest foldable innovations, Galaxy AI capabilities and productivity tools firsthand.
