Telecommunications service provider, Globacom has opened its sixth Gloworld outlet in Ibadan.
The bespoke one-stop shop is the sixth in the ancient city and seventh in Oyo State.
Globacom’s Head of Sales Operations, West, Mr. Akeem Yusuf disclosed this at the official opening saying the new addition was in fulfilment of the company’s desire to reduce customers’ waiting time at any of its shops especially as its customer base has increased astronomically over the years.
“We also aim to continue to enhance our provision of excellent sales and service infrastructure in a bid to enrich customer’s experience and consolidate our position as a pacesetter in the Nigerian telecommunication industry,” he said.
He said the shop was meant to offer Globacom’s products and services in a well-equipped and highly conducive ambience for its customers whom the brand holds in high esteem.
State Deputy Governor, Chief Adebayo Lawal who was special guest of honour at the commissioning described Globacom as a trailblazer in Nigeria’s telecommunications indstry.
“It is to the credit of Globacom that all and sundry in the country now have access to telecommunications services,” he said.
