Globacom, in partnership with Samsung, has held another masterclass session at the Gloworld, Opebi, Lagos where both companies showcased the new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 and the benefits available to customers.
The new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8, another step forward in smartphone innovation, are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy processor, delivering faster performance, enhanced Galaxy AI features and improved multitasking.
The event featured live demonstrations of the Galaxy Fold 8 series, giving business partners of both companies, technology enthusiasts, and media representatives the opportunity to experience the devices and explore their AI capabilities, productivity enhancements, and multitasking functions.
Samsung’s Product Manager, EIP & MNOs Business, Mr. Solomon Osibeluwo, who spoke at the event commended Globacom for its continued collaboration in bringing Samsung’s cutting-edge innovations closer to the people and for enabling subscribers to experience the brand’s newest technological offerings.
“The Galaxy Z Fold8 features Samsung’s new passport-inspired design, resulting in a slimmer, lighter, and more portable device. The enhanced display brightness, Vision Booster, and anti-reflective technology ensure an improved viewing experience in bright conditions,” Osibeluwo said, adding that the Galaxy AI capabilities enable users to communicate, create content and improve productivity.

He announced that customers can pre-order the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold8 at all Gloworld outlets nationwide from July 22 to August 20. Rabie added that each pre-order comes with 18GB of free Glo data (3GB monthly for six months), a Glo eSIM with a Premium Number, 10GB monthly bonus data for six months, Samsung Care+, flexible payment options and other benefits valued at up to ₦1 million.
The Masterclass reinforced the shared commitment of Samsung and Globacom to making premium innovation more accessible through initiatives including exclusive connectivity benefits and customer-focused experiences.
