The new movie, The Domestic Staff, of fast-rising Nollywood actress Gift Anizoba thrilled viewers when it premiered on the YouTube Channel, Global CrownTV, on Wednesday, July 8 and got rave reviews.
The suspense filled drama, which keeps audiences talking long after the credits roll, marks another important achievement in Anizoba’s growing acting career as she continues to earn recognition for taking on emotionally demanding roles.
Amaka Gift Anizoba, who hails from Umuleri, Anambra State, made her Nollywood debut in Crazy People in 2018. Since then, she has steadily built her career through a number of notable performances, while also establishing herself as a model and digital influencer with a growing fan base.
In The Domestic Staff, Anizoba plays Zara, a strong, confident and determined young woman whose life takes unexpected turns, forcing her to make difficult decisions that test her strength, values and resilience.
Reflecting on the role, the actress described Zara as a character many viewers will easily connect with.
