South Africa-based Nigerian singer and songwriter Ajimisan Gift Ebunoluwa, professionally known as “GIF3RD,” recently surprised fans with an impromptu virtual performance on Instagram. On May 2nd, the dynamic artist treated his followers to a 45-minute unannounced concert, performing tracks from his upcoming EP, *No Doubt*, as well as unreleased songs.

The independent artist explained that the surprise show was a precursor to a larger event. GIF3RD is planning an Independence Day online concert scheduled for October 1st, to celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day and further engage with his fanbase.

“I love connecting with my fans live. Their real-time feedback motivates me and drives me to work harder,” GIF3RD said.

This surprise performance follows a similar unannounced Instagram live event held earlier this year in January, where GIF3RD first revealed the title of his EP and gave fans a preview of what to expect.

“In the lead-up to the release of *No Doubt*, I’ll be hosting several unscheduled virtual live shows. These performances will help me get direct feedback on the singles I’m working on and allow me to interact more closely with my fans. It’s a great way to gauge their expectations and assess the reception of the EP,” he shared.

In addition to these live performances, GIF3RD also hinted at launching a video challenge as part of his EP’s promotional efforts. Fans will have the opportunity to win cash prizes and other rewards through this initiative leading up to the release of the EP.

Stay tuned for more details on GIF3RD’s upcoming virtual concert and the exciting promotions planned around his forthcoming EP *No Doubt*.
