General Musa’s second coming

His name speaks volume. His  Christian name, Christopher means Christ bearer while his Hausa name, Musa translates to Moses. According to Biblical accounts as recorded in the old Testament, Moses ( Musa) was a rescuer. He, it was who God entrusted with the very difficult and dangerous task of leading his people, the Israelites, out of the bondage and indignities of Egypt thus liberating them  from  the tyrannical grip of the Egyptian despotic King,  Pharaoh. The nexus and similarities General Musa and the Biblical Moses share is that both were chosen to help their respective peoples navigate through challenging situations. If you call the Biblical Moses and the Nigerian Moses(General Musa) war commanders and heroes of their people you won’t be wrong!

Note that General  Musa’s career progression saw him holding a plethora of strategic command positions in the Army which culminated in his appointment in 2023 by President Bola Tinubu as the Chief of Defence Staff, CDS. While the Biblical Moses was empowered by the spirit of God to become a commander and rescuer of his people, General Musa, first as the CDS and now as Defence Minister, has been saddled with the onerous task of riding Nigeria of terrorism and hydra- headed terrorists causing sorrow and grief to Nigerians. His first coming as CDS has been described by security analysts as very impactful, professional and very patriotic.General Musa exudes discipline and fear of God, virtues he imbibed early in life as a student of the Federal Government College, Sokoto. A thorough breed soldier, General Christopher Musa, as the CDS did not leave anybody in doubt as to  his disdain and disgust for terrorists and his determination to smoke them out.

Let’s not forget that for 16 years now, terrorists have held Nigeria by the jugular- wrecking havoc and leaving on their trails blood, destruction tears and sorrow. Nigerians in sokoto, kastina, kebbi, zamfara,Niger,Naswara,Benue, pleateau and recently Kwara states have sordid and heart wrenching stories to tell about the terrorists and terror they spread. However, when General Musa became the CDS, he wasted no time in bringing the full weight of military might to bear on the terrorists resulting in the neautralization of scores of terror kingpins and their foot soldiers. His days as the CDS can perfectly be described as “doomsdays” for Boko Haram, Lakuruwa, Ansaru, ISWAP, JNIM and other terror groups. And now as the Defence Minister, I’m optimistic that General Musa’s experience as a military man will go a long way in piloting the affairs of the Defence Ministry and eradicating terrorism in the country.

General Musa was first appointed by President Tinubu as CDS on July 13, 2023 and retired on 30 October 2025 after spending (27 months) in office. His retirement came amid America’s designation of Nigeria a Country of Particular Concern and a threat to intervention in Nigeria militarily over an alleged Christian genocide.

As it is said, the voice of man is the voice of God. The moment the erstwhile Minister for Defense Mohammed, Baduru Abubakar announced his resignation, a broad spectrum of Nigerians  became unanimous in wishing and praying that General Musa who had retired from the army barely a month  earlier be appointed to replace him. And as if President Tinubu read the mood of Nigerians, he graciously nominated the General as Defence Minister a day after Baduru’s exit. It was indeed Musa’s second coming foretold and well received!

According to Pastor Willams Magaji,  the second coming of Jesus Christ is a fundamental belief among Christians worldwide. It is the belief that Jesus will return to the earth in bodily form to establish His kingdom and judge the world. So the second appointment of General Christopher Musa obviously aim at  rooting out terrorists from every space in the country. Musa’s appointment is fitting, proper and deserving. It will deal a fatal blow on kidnapping for ransom which has become a recurring decimal. His second coming will deal a mortal blow on terrorists and then create  a conducive environment for political leaders to provide leadership for the good of everyone, including creating a non toxic environment that would be conducive for economic growth, political activities and better integration among ethnic groups.

General Musa is fully aware of the people’s expectations of him. As a military man, he is on a familiar terrain and  I do not doubt his capacity and capability to deliver. I do not doubt his experience and I do not doubt his love for our country. It is my prayer and that of all patriotic Nigerians that General Musa succeed in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere for the country and that soon, kidnapping will be a thing of the past. We fervently look forward to a country where innocent school children will not be scared of attendikg school because of threat of insecurity, kidnapping; a peaceful country where farmers would boldly return to their farms and travelers will not be scared of road trips.

The new Defence Minister in his maiden speech on assumption of office assured Nigerians of  commitment to freeing the country from terrorism: “Let me once again reaffirm my commitment to lead with fairness, firmness, and loyalty to our constitution. The President is doing everything possible to ensure our success. We must play our part. The task ahead is enormous, but surmountable.

“We can win. We will win. The good people of Nigeria are looking up to us for results, and we must deliver immediately. I am not here to preside; I am here to lead, to walk, and to deliver alongside you.

“I cannot do it alone. I thank you all as I look forward to our detailed work and the tasks ahead”

On my part,  I have nothing but best wishes for General Musa and our country. With God on our part and with tenacity of purpose, Nigeria will completely and permanently defeat the agents of darkness and enemies of humanity and civilisation that are currently troubling our peace.

Welcome on a second missionary journey, General Musa!

Ghanaian Prophet’s prophecies on Nnamdi Kanu!

Prophet Boateng Bempah is a Ghanaian Prophet who resides in Abuja and presides over the Authority Arena Ministry. Prophet Boateng recently prophesied that God revealed to him that like the Biblical Joseph, Nnamdi Kanu will walk out of the prison soon

According to him,  “I had a revelation were I saw something like a globe and inside the globe I saw a gentleman. And the Lord said to me, the gentleman in the globe is Nnamdi Kanu. And globe represents the world. And God owns the world!

“This gentleman, the man Nnamdi Kanu who is the undisputed IPOB leader, is  a hero, a freedom fighter. Recently he was sentenced to life imprisonment which means that till he dies, he will remain in prison. But remember that in the Bible, Joseph was in the prison but because of the unction to function, Joseph could not remain in prison.

“The federal government has sentenced Nnamdi Kanu to life jail but the Lord is telling me that He is going to release him. Nnamdi Kanu will soon be released. The Lord said He is going to release him. Let the world wait for it. This prophecy will surely come to pass”
