GBfoods, a culinary company, has reaffirmed its commitment to Corporate Social Investment through a transformative initiative in the Makoko community, a riverine settlement in Lagos. This philanthropic endeavour targeted women and children, emphasising the company’s dedication to fostering positive societal impact.

Commencing with a community visit, GBfoods donated its flagship brands to women in the community aiming to foster independence and self-sufficiency. This aligns seamlessly with UN Development Goal 1 for poverty eradication.

Furthermore, GBfoods’ key representatives visited the KHAN Foundation School, showcasing a comprehensive commitment to education. In addition to offering vital financial assistance for teachers’ salaries, GBfoods  donated essential learning resources such as notebooks, a generator, school bags, water bottles, and provisions of food and water for the students. This holistic approach underscores GBfoods’ unwavering dedication to cultivating a nurturing and thriving educational environment.

The teachers and students of the KHAN School warmly welcomed GBfoods’ representatives while expressing their gratitude through cultural dance presentation. Acknowledging the students’ active participation, GBFoods encouraged them with words of support, nurturing a heightened enthusiasm for learning and personal growth.

GBFoods, as part of its corporate responsibility efforts, places a high priority on community well-being. By donating essential resources and supporting sustainable development, the company is actively contributing to the creation of stronger, self-sufficient communities.
