The Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has led over 30 members of the Green Chamber to the burial ceremony of the father-in-law of Hon. Tunji-Ojo.
The late Engr. (Dr.) Chief Benson Akinola Otegbeye JP, who was the father-in-law of the member representing Akoko North/East North West Federal Constituency, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, was buried admidst pomp and fanfare on Friday, at Owo, his home town.
The late Otegbeye, before his demise, was the founder of the C&A Movement Church, Ijoka Road. Akure.
The funeral which was held at the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Owo, attracted dignitaries and political heavyweights within and outside the State.
Notable figures at the reception which took place at the Mydas Hall, Owo, are the Speaker House of Representatives Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and his Wife with other members of the Green Chamber; Wife of the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Betty Akeredolu; Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky O. Aiyedatiwa; Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio; APC Ondo State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin; members of House of Representative cacus leader, Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin( Odigbo /Ile-Oluji); Hon. Timehin Adelegbe (Owo/Ose); Hon Abiola Makinde (Ondo East /West); Hon.Akinjo Kolade,Ilaje/Eseodo; Hon.Gboluga Ikengbojuj, Okitipupa/Irele; Hon.Kolawole Babatunde.
Also, the state party chairman of the PDP, Fatai Adams; Ondo Commissioner for Lccal Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Asiwaju Adefarati Gboyega; Ondo State Commissioner of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Hon Omolola Fagbemi; former deputy good overnor of Ondo State, Chief Ali Olanusi, were also present.
