The Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, has reaffirmed his commitment to complementing government efforts at all levels in safeguarding Yorubaland and promoting Yoruba culture and traditions globally.
Adams made this known while giving an account of his stewardship to mark his 8th coronation anniversary as the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland.
Reflecting on his years in office, the Yoruba generalissimo highlighted his numerous contributions in the areas of security, cultural promotion, and philanthropy, among others.
He noted that his initiatives have focused on strengthening community-based security, preserving Yoruba heritage, and ensuring that Yoruba values and traditions remain relevant both locally and internationally.

According to him, sustained collaboration with government institutions and stakeholders remains critical to protecting lives and property across Yorubaland, as well as deepening cultural consciousness among the younger generation.
Adams reiterated his resolve to continue serving as a unifying force for the Yoruba people, stressing that the promotion of culture, peace, and development would remain central to his leadership in the years ahead.
He charged Yoruba sons and daughters to always value and cherished their culture and tradition.
Different dignitaries including traditional rulers, Arewa Consultative Forum, Igbo communities and others present at the event showered encomium on Adams for his contribution to Yoruba race.
