Istanbul giants Galatasaray have reportedly devised an ambitious strategy to retain in-form Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen and thwart Manchester United’s attempts to attract the Nigerian forward to Old Trafford this January.
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray has laid out a “crazy plan” to ensure Osimhen remains with the team.
Fanatik further revealed that a meeting took place between Manchester United and Napoli, during which United sought to discuss the transfer fee for Osimhen.

While Napoli approved the potential transfer, the 25-year-old striker reassured Galatasaray fans with his response, stating, “I’m at Galatasaray until the end of the season,” effectively closing the door on any offers during the mid-season transfer window.
In terms of Galatasaray’s plan, Fanatik reports that the club’s management is actively working to secure the funds necessary for Osimhen’s transfer fee. President Dursun Özbek and his team are preparing to cover the estimated €75 million fee, backed by two significant sponsorships from Chinese companies.
It has been indicated that efforts are underway to ensure the financial resources needed for the Osimhen deal are in place.
