Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has appointed Dagogo S.A. Wokoma as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
Mr Wokoma took over from his predecessor, Benibo Anabraba, who assumed office immediately after the expiration of the state of emergency.

Governor Fubara also appointed a new Chief of Staff (COS) in the person of Sunny Ewule, replacing Edison Ehie, who had been with him since the political quagmire in the state.
Both appointments, which take immediate effect, were contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onwuka Nzeshi, on Thursday.
The new appointees will be sworn in at 2 pm today at the Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Port Harcourt.
