The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has launched its 2026 recruitment exercise, offering employment opportunities to graduates, SSCE holders and skilled artisans across various cadres of the organisation.

In a recruitment notice signed by the Deputy Corps Marshal in charge of Administration and Human Resources, Pauline Olaye, on behalf of the Corps Marshal, the agency announced that online applications will commence on Friday, July 3, 2026, and remain open for four weeks.

The corps urged interested Nigerians to submit their applications through its official recruitment portal, stressing that the exercise is free of charge and warning applicants not to pay anyone claiming to facilitate employment.

The recruitment covers three categories: the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspectorate Cadre, and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre.

For the Officer Cadre, the FRSC is seeking professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, nurses, lawyers, engineers and holders of B.Sc., BA and HND qualifications for positions including Superintendent Route Commander, Route Commander and Assistant Route Commander. Applicants are generally required to be between 18 and 35 years old.

Candidates with NCE, ND/OND, Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife and Community Health Extension Worker qualifications are eligible for the Marshal Inspectorate Cadre, while applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old.

The Road Marshal Assistant Cadre is open to applicants with a minimum of three SSCE credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

The agency also invited skilled workers and artisans—including mechanics, electricians, plumbers, tailors, computer operators, motorcycle riders and drivers—to apply, provided they possess the necessary trade qualifications and valid licences. Drivers of articulated vehicles and tow trucks must be between 26 and 40 years of age.

According to the FRSC, applicants must be Nigerians by birth, computer literate, medically fit and single. Male candidates must have a minimum height of 1.65 metres, while female applicants must be at least 1.58 metres tall.

The corps added that candidates must be of good character, free from financial indebtedness, have no criminal record and must not have tattoos. Pregnant women were advised not to apply.

The FRSC also directed applicants to declare all academic and professional qualifications during the recruitment process, warning that undeclared credentials would not be recognised for future career progression within the organisation.

Reaffirming its stance against fraud, the corps maintained that no payment is required at any stage of the recruitment exercise and advised applicants to beware of scammers.
