In 2019, a simple conversation between old friends sparked an idea that would grow into a thriving enterprise.
Awotunde Olayinka Hassan, a business enthusiast with a background in English Language, seized an opportunity presented by a friend from eastern Nigeria, leading to the birth of SUIO Stainless Enterprises.
The pivotal conversation occurred when Hassan’s friend, a stainless steel fabricator based in Uyo since his NYSC days, visited Ilorin to install a stainless steel handrail.
Intrigued by the trade, Hassan delved into the research and feasibility studies. Recognising a gap in the market within his environment, within a few months, he took the plunge, acquiring his first goods on October 12, 2019.
SUIO Stainless Enterprises started small but quickly gained recognition for its quality goods and services. Today, the company stands as a testament to Hassan’s vision and dedication.
Beyond business success, Hassan is committed to giving back to the community. SUIO Stainless Enterprises has trained numerous individuals in stainless steel fabrication, equipping them with valuable skills for self-sufficiency.
Awotunde Olayinka Hassan, born on November 11, 1987, is not only a successful entrepreneur but also an accomplished academic. With a degree in English Language and a Master’s from Ilorin Business School, Hassan balances his professional pursuits with family life as a married father of four.
SUIO Stainless Enterprises actively supports local initiatives, including sponsoring the Omoge Arewa Offa during the Ijakadi Festival and supporting young tennis players in Kwara State, an example is the B and I tennis tournament held in November 2024. He was one of the sponsors for kwara state Closed Table Tennis Tournament.
Hassan envisions further contributing to youth empowerment by providing resources and support to aspiring individuals seeking to learn a skill under his company’s guidance. With a commitment to quality, community, and empowerment, SUIO Stainless Enterprises continues to make a mark in Kwara State and beyond.
