Chelsea winger, Victor Moses might have received hope of a turn around of fortune with the team in the new year, as one of his rivals for a regular spot in The Blues’ squad, Ruben Loftus-Cheek wants to leave.

In contrast with initial reports that Moses would have to leave on loan to get action elsewhere, the former Super Eagles star may decide to stay put at Stamford Bridge, as Loftus-Cheek could be on his way out instead.

Good news for Moses came Wednesday, with footballlive.ng learning that Loftus-Cheek is reportedly seeking a loan move away from Chelsea in the New Year after struggling to break into the first team.

Unlike Moses, Loftus-Cheek has played a total of 382 minutes for Chelsea this season, the equivalent of four matches, compared to 21 league starts for the Eagles last time out.

However, a lack of more playing time since returning to Stamford Bridge from a season long stint with Crystal Palace from a with Crystal Palace in 2017-18 has cost the 22-year-old his place in the England fold.Having been restricted to starts in the Europa League this term, with his only three Premier League outings coming from the bench, The Blues’ academy product now wants out.

Palace are said to be in the running to take back Loftus-Cheek for the second half of the campaign, while Bundesliga side Schalke 04have renewed their interest following a late approach in the summer
