The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested four suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.

In a statement, the EFCC said the suspects were picked up in a pre-dawn operation in Karu axis of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Thursday, June 27.

The EFCC said the arrest followed credible intelligence on their alleged involvements in fraudulent internet activities.

“Items recovered from them include: a black-coloured Lexus AS 350 car with Abuja registration number: YAB115CE, ash-coloured Toyota Camry car with Abuja registration number: RSH 993 CV, mobile phones and laptops.

“They will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation,” the commission said.
