To increase access to higher education opportunities, a Kaduna-based Caleb Danladi Foundation (CDF) at the weekend unveiled plans to sponsor the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examinations for less vulnerable students across the 23 local government areas of Kaduna State.

The essence was to empower students who are facing financial difficulties in pursuing higher education in the state.

Founder of the Foundation, Caleb Danladi Bako in a statement added that the essence of the commitment, among other things was to make a positive impact on the lives of those who may not have the means to access further educational opportunities crucial to their development and progress.

“Education is a powerful tool for transformation, and every deserving student, regardless of their background, should have the chance to realize their full potential.

“Our foundation is dedicated to breaking down barriers and creating pathways to success for the less privileged”, he stated”, Danladi said.

According to him, the sponsorship program would cover the entire cost of JAMB registration for eligible students, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder their pursuit of higher education.

He noted that, the initiative aligned with the foundation’s overarching mission of empowering, educating, and elevating lives within communities.

“The application process will be designed to be accessible to students facing economic challenges, with a focus on academic merit and commitment to education”, the statement read in part.

The Foundation however encouraged community members, well-wishers, and potential partners to join hands in supporting this initiative, emphasising the collective responsibility of fostering positive change and creating opportunities for the less privileged.

The Foundation has over the years, introduced various programs in support of the vulnerable people in the society in the state in areas of provisions of food items, skills acquisition empowerment, and educational support, amongst others.
