The DavidBukola Development Foundation has feted 60 orphans in Kaduna.
The foundation, which is dedicated to transforming and empowering lives, especially the less privileged, organised a Christmas food drive that featured fun games, activities, a festive meal, and gift-giving.
According to the Head of Operations at the foundation, Miss Oluwamayowa Kolawole, the event was designed to show the orphans that there were people who care for them outside their homes. “It’s all about giving back to society,” Kolawole said.
The event, which was held at Shema Filling Station, Yakowa Way, Kaduna, was a huge success, with the children beaming with joy and excitement throughout.
The foundation partnered with two generous restaurants to provide festive meals for the children and also gave them little gifts to enjoy the holiday season.
As the children danced, played games, and enjoyed their meals, it was clear that the true spirit of Christmas was alive and well in Kaduna.
The DavidBukola Development Foundation hopes that this event will inspire more individuals and organisations to get involved in similar charitable causes.
By spreading joy and love to those who need it most, the foundation is embodying the values of kindness, compassion, and generosity that define the Christmas season.
The children, who are majorly from Blessed Home Orphanage, Nissi Village, Naptalis Orphanage, Goni Gora and Adonai Orphanage, Barnawa, all within Kaduna town and their caregivers, appreciated the foundation’s gesture and prayed for its sustainability.
