Former UNILAG LSS president, Adeyeye bags First Class at Law School

The immediate past President of the Law Students Society (LSS), Faculty of Law, University of Lagos (UNILAG), Joshua Adeyeye made First Class from the Nigerian Law School (NLS).

Adeyeye, who was called to the bar on July 10th, 2026, conferring on him the status of a barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

He had earlier graduated with a First Class from the Faculty of Law, UNILAG. Adeyeye served as the 54th president of LSS for the 2023/2024 academic session.

At the 56th convocation ceremony of UNILAG, he won awards and prizes as the best student in Company Law and Land Law.

“Not only did he bag two fully-funded scholarships to the NLS, Adeyeye replicated the same feat at the NLS earning a First Class.”

Adeyeye is currently a trainee associate at a tier-one service law firm.

He graduated with a First Class and emerged best male/2nd overall best graduating student from the Faculty of Law, UNILAG.

The former LSS president has won awards and written published journals and articles in law journals.

“This journey has been nothing short of God’s grace, mercy, and favour. All glory be to God for making my journey to the bar a smooth sail,” he stated.
