Former Real Madrid manager Fabio Capello has stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is not as good as Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, or Ronaldo Nazario.
The Portuguese player is regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, and others believe he is the best ever due to his success in the sport.
Capello spoke on Egyptian channel ON Sport’s Hat-trick show, explaining how Cristiano Ronaldo differs from other elite players in the sport.
The retired Italian coach said he thinks Messi, Maradona, and the Brazilian Ronaldo are better than the Portuguese player because of their ‘genius’ skills, which he doesn’t have.

“Cristiano is a top goal-scorer and a fantastic athlete, but he doesn’t have the special talent of Messi, Maradona, or Ronaldo Nazario.
“The cleverness that the others had is missing in Cristiano. He can’t be compared to those three,” he said via Kooora.com.
Fabio Capello retired from coaching in 2018 after a successful career, during which he worked with Ronaldo Nazario at Real Madrid.
