Former Enugu LG Vice Chairman, Okeagu hails Ugwuanyi at 62

A former vice chairman of Uzo Uwani Local government Area of Enugu State, Ozor Pius Okeagu, has congratulated the Nigerian Ambassador to Greece and former Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Lawrence Ifeanyichukwu Ugwuanyi as he marks his 62 years of age.

Okeagu In a statement he personally signed described the former Governor as ‘a lover of peace, lifter of people and compassionate leader’, while noting that Ugwuanyi’s administration in the state, prioritized human capital development, rural transformation and Peace across the state.

His words: “Beyond transforming the education sector, the former Governor lifted men and built them as formidable forces.

“The former Governor symbolizes peace, and represents the kind of leadership the people of the state treasures and yearns for. And it is our expectation that having gone international, that he would use his new office to infect the world with Peace and harmony.

“I am particularly happy with the former Governor who is now the Nigerian Ambassador to Greece. And as a strong follower of his style of leadership, I am confident he would succeed and make the state proud as Nigerian Ambassador,” he concluded.
