Lulu, Maigari, Ogba, Amadu, Ojo-Oba, others in attendance

More football administration bigwigs and stakeholders, comprising former presidents, vice-presidents, general secretaries of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), club owners and Nigerian ex-internationals took turns to hold a consultative meeting with the delegation of the world football governing body, the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday.
The meeting, which was held at a private hotel in Abuja on Tuesday, in continuation of the consultation to ensure comprehensive administrative reforms of the game in the country, was in line with a directive by President Bola Tinubu after the resignation of the immediate past president, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, last month.
Daily Sun Sports can report that those that participated in the consultative meeting include former NFF eggheads led by two presidents, Sani Lulu and Aminu Maigari, former vice-president, Senator Obinna Ogba, former general secretaries, Sani Toro, Barr Musa Amadu, Fanny Amu and Bolaji Ojo-Oba.

While Segun Odegbami represented and presented the position of the Nigerian ex-internationals, others like club owners represented by Remo Stars chairman, Hon Kunle Soname, and the national leadership of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) represented by the president, Isaiah Benjamin, secretary-general, Ikenna Okonkwo, deputy secretary-general, Samuel Ahmadu, among others also appeared before the FIFA and CAF delegations.
The bigwigs who met with the delegations of the world and continental football bodies, however, declined comments on the nature of the submission they made.
