The newly appointed Managing Director of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, Rabiu Suleiman Bichi, has said that his leadership will focus on improving food security and economic development in Northern Nigeria.
In a letter of gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bichi insisted that he would leverage the authority’s expertise in water resources management and agricultural development to achieve these laudable goals.
He remarked that the president has demonstrated an “unparalleled commitment” to providing food security through his indomitable support for agriculture by providing the necessary inputs to practical farmers.
Bichi, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Kano State, stressed that, “As the MD of the Hadejia Jama’are River Basin Development Authority, I am eager to collaborate with all stakeholders to harness the potential of the authority.
